About the novel

A killer is living in the heart of London. His mission is to free the city of its depravity. It is the only way that he can save himself.
Detective Inspector Rod Cain has just returned to duty after the death of his wife. For him these are challenging times as he tries to hold himself and what’s left of his family together. Cain is in the middle of getting back in to the swing of things at work when a woman’s body is discovered. She has lost her life in a most depraved way. The police are at a loss. Whoever has murdered this woman has been careful and methodical leaving no evidence for the police to work with. The only anomaly at the crime scene was the discovery of two kilos of rotting leaks. The lack of evidence following such a violent crime disturbs DCI Cain. He fears that there will be more bodies. First he must convince his colleagues that a serial killer is operating in London and then catch the killer before he strikes again. DCI Cain will need to work fast before his personal life and demons envelope him. If not, he knows that he will be removed from the investigation before the killer is caught, leaving his career in tatters and his last case unsolved. DCI Cain must make London safe again for its residents and his family. It’s what motivates him to get up every morning and clear the streets of its human waste. |
