The key principal at Mac Mineral Event Consultants is Alastair MacDonald. Alastair has 28 years experience in the events industry. He has been running events across the world for the global mining and minerals industry. 
Alastair has worked as an event manger at venues across the UK. Following that, he worked for Coaltrans Conferences, Euromoney Energy Events before moving on to run the events team at IHS McCloskey. This took him around the world, working with many government departments and the worlds leading mineral industry companies. Alastair presently lives in Jakarta Indonesia and is a Vice President of the Djakarta Mining Club's Vice. The DMC runs between eight to ten events a year (Virtual and Live)
